DDI is known for their proactive approach regarding storm response and logistics. As part of our standard processes and procedures, we start pre-planning our storm response as soon as a named storm enters the Gulf of Mexico.

Based upon our proven storm response standards/ results, DDI was awarded the contract was able to respond to the needs of the client inside of 24 hours. Once on-site, our team not only coordinated but also facilitated in the asset recovery efforts directly for the utility company which included around the clock logistics of matting and materials. Throughout the duration of the project, our team not only provided access to support Entergy in replacing (83) 500kV towers but also fuel and meals to their employees and all 3rd party contractors. Our motto, “pulling off the impossible” proved itself during this project as our team faced multiple challenges including the clients schedule requirements, managing personnel fatigue, and the coordination of over 3,000 trucks.
